Dean Ingwersen

Dean has worked in various conservation roles at BirdLife Australia, and currently works as the Woodland Bird Program Leader.  As part of that role he is the national Regent Honeyeater recovery coordinator.  Dean believes that quality photography of the natural environment is one of the strongest ways to engage the community in conservation and sustainability.  Dean is an award-winning photographer in his spare time and has had photos published nationally and internationally, has conducted workshops on photography techniques, contributes regularly to Australian BirdLife magazine, and continues to strive for the elusive perfect photo.  Dean’s work can be found on his website.
